Thank you for the reply!
I have another question, about the MiG-29 radar warning receiver SPO-15. There are many different stories, if it's too sensitive, or it's not sensitive enough. One person says that it can't detect an enemy radar, if the MiG-29 radar is working, because of interference. Another source says that the pilot must select the switch, "SCAN OFF", and then the SPO-15 will detect enemy radar lock, but not enemy radar scan, when the MiG-29 radar is working. Some Romanian MiG-29 pilots say everything is false, and that they have no problems detecting enemy scan with SPO-15 even when the MiG-29 radar is working, because the interference is filtered by it's strong intensity compared to other received signals. Help! If it's not secret, what is the truth?
Danke schoene,
-Andrew
