Phinal Phantom Phever!

Unfortunately, it is reality now: our sisters squadron 732 and its mighty PHANTOM are leaving Laage!

Reason enough to raise the glasses for a last time and toast to the good years the squadron had here! The squadron had invited and everyone had come! Besides delegations of other Luftwaffe units, friends and many former members of the squadron had come, especially from the Pferdsfeld area. The meeting joy was gigantic!! Some hadn´t seen for more thean 12 years (...and immediately recognized anyway!!)

For piety reasons we canceled the live music and the planned fireworks. Nevertheless the atmosphere was very good: not crazy but definite harmonic!!

 Due to the icy cold the tents in front of the squadron were not really accepted and almost 300 persons found themselves in the squadron building.

In the official part of the evening, we were reminded the good times this unit had in Laage. The farewell to the good old PHANTOM also was obviously hard for everybody!! The MiG-drivers share this tenor:  the 2 years we are having left with our FULCRUM in Laage without you - will be half as much fun!

Our "daily bread" the 4 v 4 in the TRA 206 will become rare for us now and we will often wish you guys back!
