Good Bye to Laage

On the12th of march 2002 a rather sad chapter of the Laage story of FW 73 STEINHOFF was started: the closing down of our sister squadron 732 and the flyout of the mighty PHANTOM !

For a last time the two squadrons met over Laage to show their stuff. The Phantom squadron managed to get eight jets airborne at a time and we stood against with four MiG-29.

Our two squadrons had a great time at Laage, flying together and against each other.

Too bad you have to leave !
